Caring for Each Other
Are you in need of help? Are you looking for someone with whom to talk? Running low on toilet paper and can’t or shouldn’t leave your home? You are not alone as we have a team of volunteers from St. James ready to help however they are able. Please email Mary Boutwell so that we can ensure your needs are covered. If you are quarantined or in the at risk population, then let us know how we can help you.
If you would like to lend a helping hand, please email Mary Boutwell so that she can add you to the volunteer list. As needs are made known to the church a group text or email will go out to coordinate our efforts. Also, we will be making another round of phone calls to the congregation. Therefore if you would like to help, then let us know.
Although we are facing new challenges with COVID-19, the pastoral care offerings of the church never cease. If you have a pastoral issue, please call the church office (225-387-5141) and leave a message for Fr. Ralph or Fr. Chris. You can also email either one directly. One of the clergy will call you back as quickly as possible. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call Fr. Chris directly (225-270-3448).
