Hailed as a “tour de force” (Classical Voice of North Carolina), tenor, Kyle Melton has appeared with Opera Carolina, The Turner-Fischer Center for Opera, Operá Louisane, Operafestival di Roma, Accademia dell’opera Europea, Opera Experience Southeast, Acadian Symphony Orchestra, Carolina Catholic Chorale, LSU Symphony Orchestra, and LSU Acapella Choir, among others. Recently, he returned to the Turner-Fischer Center for Opera as Tamino (cover) in Die Zauberflöte and sang the tenor solos in Bach’s Magnificat with Highland Baptist Church in Louisiville, KY. Kyle is currently pursuing a DMA in vocal performance. Over the last two years, he has won the prestigious LSU Dissertation Fellowship, the Turner-Fischer Opera Scholarship, and was a Fulbright Scholarship Finalist in 2022. The North Carolina native currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is in the voice studio of Professor Sandra Moon.
