Have you ever wondered what it might be like to quietly hold others before God in prayer? St. James is a community of prayer, and our Prayer Ministry is one way we live that calling together. This ministry coordinates weekly prayers for those in need of healing, for the departed, for spiritual needs, expectant mothers, newborns, those to be married, members of the active military, and law enforcement personnel. Those who serve in this ministry receive a weekly prayer list and commit to praying faithfully from wherever they are. Portions of these prayers are also spoken aloud and included in our Sunday service bulletins.
If you feel drawn to this gentle, faithful work of prayer, we invite you to consider joining the PrayerMinistry and becoming part of this quiet but powerful service to our community. If you would like to be involved, please contact Laurie Gaston.
