If the church’s parking lot is full when you arrive for a mid-week program or event, you are welcome to park on 4th Street, 5th Street, and/or Convention Street. This is especially helpful if you are attending a burial service, mid-week Eucharist, Bible Study, or another parish event. Please keep in mind:
- Avoid parking along the street during Day School carpool hours (7-8:30 a.m. and 2-3 p.m.)
- If you see cones on the street , they are there to reserve parking for parish members during events such as St. Joan of Arc or visitations.
- The lot behind The City Club is a paid lot during the work week. It remains free only on Sunday mornings for church, but at all other times, it is managed by Baton Rouge Parking for a fee.
- Parking in the St. James Church lot is enforced by Baton Rouge Parking throughout the week unless you are attending a St. James function. During the work week, be sure to get a parking pass or check in with a staff member to ensure you do not get a ticket.
We know that mid-week parking downtown can be challenging, especially now that schools are back in session. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to make parking as accessible as possible.
